How to clean windows without streaks (even in winter)
Streaks don't come from a bad product but from technique and timing. We'll show you how to get a crystal-clear view.
Cleaning windows spotless can be surprisingly tricky. Streaks are usually not caused by the product but by technique, temperature and drying speed. Here are the principles that work.
Don't clean windows in direct sunlight
On hot glass the water dries before you squeegee it off – and leaves marks. Overcast weather or early morning is ideal.
Frame first, then glass
Otherwise you'd spread dust and dirt from the frame across the clean glass. Work top to bottom.
Squeegee in one continuous stroke
Guide a professional squeegee in a smooth stroke and wipe the blade after each pass. That removes most streaks.
And in winter?
Windows can be cleaned even in low temperatures – we use anti-freeze solutions and work fast. A crystal-clear view isn't just a spring thing.
For high and hard-to-reach windows we deploy telescopic equipment and robot cleaning. We're happy to take care of your windows.
